Lamons Continues to Expand Globally

Lamons continues to expand into new global markets as part of our growth initiative. The latest additions to our ability to service industrial customers locally are located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and Grimsby, United Kingdom. Openings of these service branches will include local manufacturing capability as well as local sales and technical support. These markets are mature in the development of sealing and fastener demands however localized manufacture and support are greatly desired in these specific areas. With a customer base consisting of Lamons’ existing clients our added value will be welcomed with faster delivery and personalized service and support.

Lamons Edmonton is located in the capital of the Alberta Province with a focus on serving the petrochemical and chemical markets that are heavily concentrated in this region. The bitumen that is mined from this area and refined into fuel feedstocks has resulted in a major economic driver for this region. Lamons’ participation and contribution to this market has been limited by proximity and will greatly benefit from a local presence. The oil sands are suspected to be the world’s largest deposit of petrocarbon with an estimated 176 billion barrels of recoverable feedstock.

Lamons Grimsby is located on the eastern coast of the UK strategically located next to key refining and petrochemical clients who will benefit from the local service initiative this branch offers. Grimsby is located next to one of England’s largest trading ports primarily due to its proximity to a deep water trade route.

Both of these branches will feature Lamons latest technology used to produce metallic and non-metallic gasketing products as well as studs of any material and length. Gasket capability will include Lamons Spiraseal™ spiral wound gaskets, Kammpro™ Kammprofile gaskets, and CMG™ corrugated metal gaskets. A full array of non-asbestos compressed sheet materials, PTFE and Graphite will be stocked for immediate fabrication and delivery.
